![]() ![]() ![]() Unlike the other games on the system, Drakan follows a more old-school approach to the adventure paradigm - diversifying its dungeon crawls with above-land quests, and bolstering its character development with a good story (and a naturally evil villain) that packs lots of side quests and sub-plots. Granted, the console has some years to go before it catches up to the wayward PC, but with Onimusha: Warlords, Soul Reaver 2, Kessen 1&2, and now Drakan: The Ancients' Gates jumping onboard, the genre is growing, and I might say, slowly, but with strong, likeable games. ![]() Unlike the PC in its many years as an RPG and adventure breeding place, the PlayStation 2 hasn't seen too many adventure games land on its ominous black-and-blue shell to date. ![]()
